Had the transmission rebuilt in mine with the HD hauler package from NAPC. Upgraded converter, different valve body, better clutches. Made a huge difference in how much it hunts for gears. The interior is nice, seems to have decent power. Cheap work truck. 2017 Ram 2500 SLT 5.7.

I attempted this bypass several times, but it always resulted in blown dashbaord dimmer fuse. I measured the current and whenever the lights turned on, I got 18A through this bypassed circuit. After many weeks of frustration, I decided to clean my rheostat, and it now works like new. Not sure if there are any differences, but my vehicle is the Philippines market Chevy Lumina 2005, which is a rebadged Shanghai GM Buick Regal (year 2003-ish).

Your by passing the alarm system and you turned the key and it clicked I replaced the starter put in a new ignition in my 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo 8.3 why are my message center showing the battery light I turn the key it says nothing everything on the dash goes off I let go of the key they come back it's done that s few times in the past on my ABS and tracking system has been on for about a year broken wire I replaced that caliber it's still showing those symbols on the dash last month my water pump went bad I ran it to long it ran hot and cut off I cooled it down it started back up my check engine light came on I had to replace the water pump and plugs now it still has it it ran for a month with the check light on I drove home Christmas Eve cut it off it haven't started since I've cleaned all the grounds connections still won't start I turn the key I get nothing from the starter

Why didn't you show what a pain the back one on drivers side is to change? I'm thinking I might have to jack engine up to get to it. Subaru could have made plenty of room by notching frame rail.

Dude, Big Thanks to you. I have a different pressure model but it was still the exact same process and problem.... the spring. I did even better and left everything on and unfroze the spring without taking it apart. I used penetrating oil and viola FULL PRESSURE. Thank you again!

Still no resistance value hey? I think I get what you mean about the wire that goes back to the car, but it could mean either direction actually. And then you talk about cutting the black wire, but then splicing in a resistor in line, you said, but you didn’t mean in line with the black wire? Because you still need to connect it to the yellow wire, correct? It’s not clear. But by watching several of them, I’m able to figure it out.

When removing those I personally use the coil pack and pop it on the loosened plug and pull the whole thing out. I’m careful to not damage any of the threads or anything but it’s a pretty easy and simple way of not needing extra stuff to remove it or anything

Nice video. Did the job today on my 2014 Forester. A couple tips. Do the passenger side first. Is easier and you will need the practice for the other side. Remove the airbox on the passenger side. You DO NOT have to disconnect the coil from the boot on this side and you can't mix them up do to wire length differences. Blow out the spark plug hole before removing the spark plugs. Stuff a towel between engine and fram rail. You WILL drop stuff! Use ONLY OEM spark plugs (NGK SILZKAR7B11 Iridium). Check the gap. Of 4 spark plugs, 3 were undergapped. Be careful on regapping not to damage the Iridium tips. Put everything back together and start the car for one minute. Should be smooth. Now go to the drivers side. Remove the battery and case. The front spark plug can be left connected to the coil. Unbolt coil and let it droop. The REAR coil pack must be disconnected to get out the boot. Behind and above the rear coil is some hose bracketry. Remove the brackets because it lets you approach the coil from the rear. This is the tough plug to remove. I used a 14mm spark plug w/wobble and a one inch extension, see below. Got it done. Recommend this from Amazon for this job Eastyard 14mm Thin Wall Magnetic Swivel Spark Plug Socket - 3/8-Inch Drive 12-Point

Not every engine is to the exact build tolerance from the factory all they do is a test run to meet the min performance and performance output specked by the engineers and if it passes they send it down the line. this t means that some are putting out more hp than other builds in the line if its make more torque or hp than the min spec they send it down the line anyway. look man iv been building American old school engines for decades and one thing runs true for both old and new is you can built 10 engines exactly the same everything identical and some will just make more hp then others thats just physics and god working for you man. sorry yur butt hurt. I also run all my vehicles on non ethanol 85 octane fuel. try some it will change your life. Idiot car people say that NEW CARS COMPENSATE TO RUN WELL ON ETHANOL FUEL... Bullshit --- they end up detuning the ECM to compensate for shit fuel like ethanol. Run a full tank of non ethanol fuel and the computer will retune the engine to run much better because it is receiving better fuel. Super unleaded enthonol fuel is not as good as regula 85 octane non ethonal fuel - it just isn't. Try it and then come back and tell me im wrong.

i have a 73 f100 that sits for long periods , and the shifter gets very stiff . remove steering wheel , pour some trans fluid down the tube , and it frees up in a few shifts .

I just bought a 05 VTX 1800 a week and a half ago, drove it all last week and two days this week, drove my hour commute home and when I got off the freeway I went to downshift and it went down to first, when I went to upshift it wouldn’t go past second, so hopefully this fix will fix my bike, if it’s not the linkage what would you recommend for me to check next
